Ferenc Kancsár's outstanding performance continued today, as the current world & european #1 in the 2-speed category totally dominated the finals by leading every lap, just as he did in all three heat races saturday after qualifying on pole position friday.
The 21-year old Hungarian remained cool. calm and collected, posting fastest lap of the final to claim his first ever Rotax Max Euro Challenge round victory at the summer edition of the championship.
VPDR team driver Mick Wishofer (AUT) recovered from a race 1 incident to re-join the finals from ROF today, setting best lap in the pre-final and finishing a credible 10th in the DD2 class and bravely supporting a rather bruised knee.
Germany's Marius Rauer picked-up the pace as his confidence grew at the Zuera circuit and clocked his quickest lap of the weekend, crossing the line in P17.
In Rotax Senior Max, Christopher Dreyspring drove well to keep his DR Racing Kart on track to collect vital points, narrowly missing a top 10 finish by only one place. The 3-times German champ was disappointed no to be able to repeat his second round podium result from Italy, but is determined to be up there at round 4 in France.
