Laurens van Hoepen is ready to close the first part of the season on the famous Le Mans circuit, where the final round of the FIA Karting European Championship is scheduled this weekend.
In the FIA Karting continental event the Dutch driver has not been particularly lucky so far; despite his efforts, the standard bearer of the Ricky Flynn Motorsport team has not collected what he deserved, so the French race is an important opportunity for vengeance.
Laurens van Hoepen, RFM (FA/Vortex): «So far we have not been very lucky in the European Championship. With the team we're working hard in order to return to the plans that belong to us. I'm pretty confident for this weekend. I hope to continue along the lines of the Adria race, where speed has never been lacking.»
The 4th and last round of the FIA Karting European Championship will start on Friday 19 with Qualifying Practice. The heats take place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21, in the morning; the finals take place on the afternoon of Sunday, 21 July.
