We are pleased to inform that on 1st december 2018 we have signed an agreement for the sale and service of Birel ART and Kubica Racing Kart in UK with the english company John Mills Engineering LTD.

John Mills Engineering LTD has become the new authorised and exclusive official Birel ART and Kubica Racing Kart importer dedicated to offering a great quality of service and expertise.

Who is JM?

2003
2003 saw another new start, to become one of the UK’s leading Karting companies. With its state of the art Factory covering 2500 sq/ft and its 12 full time staff, the ‘JM’ name boasts the UK’s largest karting show room with an array of products from a nut to a complete kart, even its own clothing department, in fact selling everything apart from the license its self.
 Major brands are now provided, including RK (Robert Kubica), IAME, Sparco, WTP, Usag, Alpinestar, EK, Pi Research, OMP, Tillotson, RK Chains, TIllett, Oakley, Alfano, Under Armour are to name a few.
 A racing team with full workshop facilities for both chassis and engine is also in house. The new KF classes has brought great success to the JM company, providing a perfect platform for top level karting customers, with the very successful WTP cadet formula providing a great starting point.
 Each new year presents its own challenges, John Mills Engineering leads the way in research & development, with success following on!

1998

In 1998 the company had expanded to a level where it could not operate from the current position, so moved to a new unit, still in Worksop.
 Now with 660 sq/ft, and under the direction of Mike Mills, John’s youngest son, the position allowed JM to development into other areas, including a new professional kart racing team. 1999 saw James Mills, son of Roger become a partner at JM.
 For 5 years the company carried on growing until its move to its current location at the heart of PF International Kart Circuit in Lincolnshire.

Established in 1959

The company was Formed in 1959 by John Mills together with his brother Roger Mills after finding a demand for karts here in the UK. They started out working from a double garage at John’s house, and the supply of karts and equipment started to grow. In the late 60’s JM was to join forces with an Italian company which had a massive impact on British karting, as for the first time, a fully commercially made product was marketed and sold with great success, taking British, European & World Championships. Roger Mills continue racing, along with John’s son Adrian, who went on to become the youngest senior British Champion in 1980 at the age of 16.
