FIA Karting World Cup, Lonato - Kremers and Gustavsson in pole position

- Paddock
Between wet and dry track, all the pretenders to the Title weekend fought against the time trial. Marijn Kremers (KZ) and Viktor Gustavsson (KZ2) in absolute pole position.

KZ - Kremers immediately in pole position
The queen class closes the daily program with the usual double qualifying session pulled between all the big names in the category. At the end of the sessions it was the reigning World Champion who took pole in 1.00.496, useful to start ahead in tomorrow's heats. Kremers took advantage of a better track condition while counting the intermittent rain that actually affected the whole qualifying phase. Second and third place went to Luca Corberi (Tony Kart) and Stan Pex (KR), the top five set by Iglesias (Formula K) and Lammers (Sodi).

KZ2 – Gustavsson on top
The Swede from Lennox Racing, immediately sets the tone by sending a strong and clear message to the competition. Gustvasson set the absolute best time in the KZ2 qualifying session with a practically surgical lap given the ambiguous conditions on the track, therefore valid for Group A in 53.419. The remaining pole positions were assigned to Tornqvist (Lennox Racing), Carbonnel (CPB), Kacovsky (Prague), Piccini (Tony Kart) and Giannoni (CPB).

FIA Academy Trophy - Braeken is the best
In the last qualification of the Academy Trophy season, it was Belgian Tom Braeken who set the first time overall in 1,01,600. Followed by Zilisch, Wurz and Capietto.
