One lap of action, then drivers settle for their positions and wait for the final to begin. Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM) escapes from the pack right after the start, while behind his shoulders Marco Ardigò (Tony Kart-Vortex) and Jeremy Iglesias (Formula K-TM) fight for the second spot, but the Italian has a better pace and takes home the second place.
Dutch duo composed by Stan Pex (CRG-TM) and Bas Lammers (Sodi-TM) holds their position while Alessio Piccini (Tony Kart-Vortex) gains two positions and steps into third position. Paolo De Conto (CRG-TM), the 2016 KZ reigning World Champion, slips into fourteenth position after the start, being forced to recover up to – position.
On lap two Lammers takes the lead of the race followed by the fellow countryman Stan Pex, winner of the WSK Champions Cup last week. Jorrit Pex (CRG-TM) overtakes Alessio Piccini and rounds out a Dutch podium.
