MAXSpeed Group announces US ticket allocation for Micro MAX and Mini MAX classes
Just announced by Rotax-BRP, Rotax Micro MAX and Mini MAX classes have been officially added to the 2016 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals, which are set for October 16-21, 2016 at the Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy. MAXSpeed Group, the United States Rotax distributor, has been allocated five tickets, which will be awarded at the Sofina Foods US Open series and the Sofina Foods United States Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Nationals.
“We are excited to see the addition of the Micro and Mini classes at the RMCGF as an international competition, in a similar capacity to the Junior, Senior, DD2 and Masters categories,” explains MAXSpeed’s Andrew Campbell. “Giving the youngest competitors in the Rotax divisions a chance to compete on the world stage and at such a high level is a great way to foster up-and-coming talent in our sport.”
Tickets for Micro and Mini competitors will be awarded at MAXSpeed’s Sofina Foods US Open series following the second round at the Utah Motorsports Campus in June, as the championship points leader in Micro and Mini will each receive a 2016 RMCGF ticket. Additionally, the 2016 US National Micro MAX Champion from the Sofina Foods United States Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Nationals at Simraceway Performance Karting Center in August will earn a ticket this year’s Grand Finals. The Mini MAX National Champion and Vice-Champion will also earn tickets while in Sonoma.
The Micro and Mini MAX classes at the RMCGF will consist of 36 competitors from around the world, all vying for the title of Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals Champion. Those qualified will receive use of a chassis and engine, kart trolley, tool box, tires, fuel and oil, and tent space at the event in Sarno, Italy.
