The American driver of the Parolin team closed early a weekend that saw him protagonist and competitive!
Coming back from his injury during the weekend at La Conca, Kai Sorensen returned to Lonato under the best auspices and, in fact, he immediately proved to be very competitive, so much so that he was among the protagonists of the weekend in the Junior category.
Kai was immediately convincing again during the qualifying session with a good second place in group F (47.926), a great starting position for the rich program of direct clashes which engaged "The California Kid". Good progression during the five heats in the program with two third positions and two fifth places, with a P23 after a penalty in the second heat.

In the Pre-final, Sorensen had handled the start very well despite the rain that had fallen on the circuit. While he was already fighting for fifth place, unfortunately Kai had to leave the race early due to a technical problem coming out of the last corner.
Despite the ending, Kai's return to the track was very positive and he is ready to get back behind the wheel in a fortnight time, again at Lonato for the WSK Super Master Series.
