The Raceway Venray hosted the first race of Tom Braeken in the Junior class at round 3 of the Dutch Championship.
The Stan Pex Motorsport driver immediately showed a good feeling with his KR, as proof of the good job done with Stan Pex himself and the sporting trainer Debby Hanssen. Braeken’s weekend started out with the 3rd position in the Warm Up and continued with the P7 in the Qualifying Practices.
The Belgian closed the PreFinal in P8, repeating the result in the Final despite a not optimal start because of the spark plug being greasy due to multiple re-starts.
Tom Braeken, SP Motorsport: «I’m happy of my first Junior weekend. All worked well and it means that me and Stan are working well during the test days. The start of the Final was not perfect due to 3 re-starts, but then I fought hard with the other drivers. I enjoyed every lap of my first race and I already can’t wait for the next race.»
Braeken’s training plan will continue with a full test program on track.
