Alex is the first ever Italian winner of the Rotax Grand Finals after a dominant performance in Senior Max! Florian Venturi from France grabbed the Junior Max title with a solid drive. Kancsar (DD2) and Urban (DD2 Masters) are the world's best in the two-speed categories.
The Italian goes down in the history books as the first ever to have taken a Rotax Grand Finals trophy to one of the countries with the strongest tradition in Karting. No Italian driver before him as ever managed to triumph in this global event, and Alex did it in dominant fashion, leading from the start all the way to the chequered flag, racing an absolutely flawless race. Behind him, Selliken from the USA and Sherratt from South Africa had to do away with the podium.
In Junior Max, Florain Venturi had the better of Ramirez from the USA and Collet from Brazil after a nail-biting race.
In DD2, Kancsar proves once again unbeatable closing ahead of Backman and Thomsen by 1"656, while in DD2 Masters drama strikes with one lap to go as Stephen is touched and drops from 1st to 11th and Urban takes the spoils ahead of Ringelberg and Zughella.
