Following the first World Motor Sport Council meeting, FIA has rescheduled two rounds of the new FIA European Karting calendar.
The decision was announced by the Federation at the end of the first meeting of the World Motor Sport Council in Geneva chaired by Jean Todt.
FIA has given its approval for the rescheduling of two events in the 2021 calendar.
The first rescheduled event refers to what was to be the opening event of the FIA Karting European Championship (OK & OK-JUNIOR) season at the Circuito Internacional Zuera (Spain), originally scheduled for 15-18 April 2021 and rescheduled for 22-25 July 2021.
The second FIA Karting European Championship event, refers to the KZ/KZ2 and FIA Karting Academy Trophy categories on the Adria Karting Raceway (Italy), race originally scheduled for 29 April-2 May 2021 and reorganised for 12-15 August 2021 as closing race.
