Press Release by:
The Russian driver of the Parolin team took part in the first WSK Super Master Series round, recovering positions after a difficult qualifying session.

The return on track after the last race of 2021 was certainly interesting and long-awaited for Anatoly, who took part in Lonato in the Super Master Series.

Unfortunately, a problem with the tires on Friday had deprived the driver of completing his qualifying session and he was not able to set a lap time useful for the first positions. In the five available heats, in fact, Khavalkin was always forced to start from the last position and then recover brilliantly.

The great work with his mechanic, the engine driver and all the Parolin Racing men, has in fact allowed Khavalkin to keep his concentration and to have a perfect car to recover positions on positions (P10, P8, P12 and P6 the results of the heats).
Recovery brilliantly completed by the Pre-final where, Anatoly, has touched the victory arriving anyway in third position. Return to the positions of competence "spoiled" only by the new rule for the formation of the starting grid of the Final which provides for the calculation of the score between the heat and the pre-final.

In this way Khavalkin had to start from the 15th position. However, in the first final of the 2022 season, Anatoly Khavalkin put up a good race on the attack and finished in 13th position.

Next week, Khavalkin will be again in Lonato for the second round of the 2022 WSK Super Master Series.
