The American driver will make his debut in FIA Karting competition this weekend at Genk (Belgium) for the European Championship.
Kai Sorensen's journey has taken him through national races, first international races and the difficult transition between 60 Mini and OKJ before he got to this point. The debut in the FIA European Championship is an important moment in the career of all drivers who have progressed from karting to the top categories, a path that Kai will also take starting this weekend. The American will in fact be on the Genk track in Belgium for the start of his first continental Championship, which is important for his growth.
Kai will be at the starting blocks with the new colours of the Forza Racing team. The British team has a great tradition in FIA competitions, winning important titles in the past. Sorensen has already tried out the new chassis, gathering his first impressions before diving into the race weekend that will begin on Friday with official qualifying, Saturday will be time for the elimination heats and Sunday 16 May the race.
All sessions will be streamed on the official FIA Karting channels, updates will be available on Kai's official social pages.
