Mark Kastelic just misses the Final at first weekend in OKJ category

Press Release by:
Mark Kastelic proved his competitiveness in the first official race of his season in the Junior category.

The Slovenian driver ended his weekend at the Adria circuit rather satisfied, considering his debut in the new category. After the testing days, Kastelic worked hard together with the DPK team and coach Felice Tiene to be ready for the first race of the year.

Mark set the seventh fastest time for group E. A useful result to face at best the numerous heats in programme, completed with a P10, P12, P15, P21 and P17, constantly in bagarre.

Also in the awaited pre-final on Sunday. Kastelic did his best with two more positions recovered and a final P18 which, unfortunately, did not allow him to qualify for the OKJ final.

Mark Kastelic will be back on track in a few days for the WSK Super Master Series, again on the circuit of Adria, to improve his performances and gain access to the final.
