No happy ending for Rehm in Zuera

Press Release by:
The sun that shines over the Circuito Internacional Zuera didn’t smile to Maxim Rehm, who has remained out from the Final in the round 1 of the FIA Karting European Championship.

The German driver missed the access to the Final for just 4 penalty points. After the 9th best in his Qualifying Group, Rehm had some ups and downs in the heats that made things harder for the qualification.

The Tony Kart driver, who was at his very first FIA Karting competition, will now have 3 weeks and the DKM round 1 to forget the Spanish race and arrive as ready as possible for the second round of the European Championship.

Maxim Rehm, Tony Kart Racing Team: «I’m not happy with the results, because it doesn’t reflect the efforts I did together with the team. But I come back home with a lot of experience in the bag. Luckily I have the DKM round this weekend to practice what I’ve learned.»

Rehm will be back on track this weekend in Kerpen for the Deutsche Kart Meisterschaft opening round.
