The young American is finally back on track, still on the Italian Adria track.
After a first part of the season troubled with the very first races scheduled, the injury and the subsequent emergency for Covid-19, Kai Sorensen is finally back behind the wheel of his Tony Kart.
The young American resumed where he left off, right on the Adria circuit which had marked his seasonal debut. Despite a double weekend, the 60 Mini driver proved to be very competitive despite some initial difficulties. Kai made the most of his potential and that of the team by completing two qualifications in P3 (group B) and P4 (group C). Two excellent starting positions that allowed Kai to maximize the two heats, which ended with access to the two pre-finals in P12 and P6. In Saturday's first final, Sorensen performed well by recovering nine positions and finishing in absolute P15, an unfortunate pre-final on Sunday with a withdrawal that did not guarantee access to the last final.
"It was nice to be able to get back on track and we have great potential. Thanks to my Tony Kart team for all the work done, thanks to my mechanic, my engine driver and all those who support us ".
Sorensen will be back on track immediately in Sarno for the Euro Series weekend.
