CRG’s driver Pedro Hiltbrand wins the first prefinal managing the gap over a great Max Tubben, started from sixth spot. Matteo Viganò rounds out the podium.
It takes only few corners to Pedro Hiltbrand (CRG-Maxter) to dominate the first prefinal. The Spaniard has a good start and leads the pack over Matteo Viganò (Top Kart-Parilla) and Frenchman Paolo Besancenez (Tony Kart-Vortex).
After a few laps the gap over the Italian is slightly less than a second and it seems that the race is gone, but Max Tubben (CRG-TM) is protagonist of a great comeback from grid sixth and he challenges the leader until the chequered flag, closing the gap during the last four laps. The 2016 OK European champion is able to control his rival, and he takes home the pole position for final race.
