KF Prefinals - Basz takes late win, Verstappen dominates

Basz takes a surprise win in prefinal 1, with Boccolacci and Nielsen getting in each other's way leaving the Polish driver a few metres to end in front. Lennox-Lamb starts well and fights with Nielsen in the early stages but then drops few positions closing in 4th. Disaster struck for Barnicoat, out after only 3 laps due to a contact, and for Russo, who drops at the back of the field in the first few laps.

The second prefinal has a late start following an incident involving Collard. Then after the green lights Verstappen grabs hold of the lead and runs away with the win. Tiene fights hard with Romanov and Kodric, then the two have a contact and the Italian has a free drive till the chequered flag. Bad luck for Ilott, he gets taken from behind and pushed wide as a result of an incident between Dabski and Stupenkov, the later closing in 4th behind a recovering Convers.
