Press Release by:

Within a little more than three months, the first CIK-FIA Championships will start with the opening of the Superkarts’ European tour at Hockenheim (DEU) on 22 April, followed a week later by the first round of the World KF1 Championship and of the European KF3 Championship at Varennes.

It is already possible to submit entry applications to the CIK-FIA for most of its Championships. Entry forms on-line are accessible via this link: http://www.cikfia.com/championships/entry-form.html

Small new element compared to previous years: entry fees have only been increased by 2.6% from 2011 – however, to take advantage of this, Competitors are invited to enter at the latest 8 weeks before the Event or the beginning of the Championship concerned, and by credit card only. It will still be possible to enter until 5 weeks before the race, also by cheque or bank transfer, but at a raised and less advantageous fee.
This practice is aimed at encouraging Competitors to enter earlier, thus enabling the CIK-FIA Administration not to have to cope with many late dossiers – which as a matter of fact are often incomplete – in the last two days prior to the deadline, which jeopardises the preparation of Events (issuing of passes and information dossiers, sending of Yearbooks, finalisation of time schedules) as well as their promotion by the Organisers.
Entry forms are accessible for most Events, to the exception of the two World Championships, for which the opening of entries will begin on 13 February (KF1) and 20 February (M18).
