Karting Awards: The Great Celebration of the 2011 Champions

After the traditional welcome cocktail and dinner, every award winner will be called to the stage to receive his/her prize, which will be handed by a key member of the World Motor Sport Council or of the CIK Commission. The FIA President, Jean Todt, will be present, and so will obviously be the CIK-FIA President, Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, and his Vice-President, Kees van de Grint. As usual, a series of clips (subsequently available on www.cikfia.tv) will enhance some of the highlights of this action-packed season. The guests, who will approximately be 150, will also be called upon to elect with ballot papers the picture of the year and its author will be rewarded at the end of the evening. Another special prize will jointly be awarded by the CIK and the FIA “Women in Motor Sport Commission” to the 2011 season’s most deserving lady Driver.
