Gunskirchen, Austria, March 4th, 2022 – BRP-Rotax is glad to announce the date for the second Danish Rotax E-Kart Championship which will take place at the Rødby Karting Ring from September 02 to 04, 2022. The Championship will run in both categories, Project E20 Junior and Senior, which will be awarded with a ticket to the RMC Grand Finals in Portugal in November.

The Danish Rotax E-Kart Championship debuted in 2021 at the Thy Karting Track in Thisted, Denmark, which was the first national championship with the Rotax Project E20 E-Kart and the Danish drivers were very excited to compete with the electric kart. The winner of 2021, Malte Ebdrup, received one of the sought-after tickets for the RMC Grand Finals in Bahrain where he finished on the 5th place.
This year the championship will take place at the Rødby Karting Ring and tickets are available for the Rotax Project E20 Junior and Senior categories. Both will be awarded with a ticket for the RMC Grand Finals 2022 which takes place in Portimão, Portugal in November for the winners.
The “Arrive&Drive” package of BRP-Rotax includes the E20 E-Karts with trolleys and the full service by our dedicated Rotax Team which supports the drivers with an introduction to the E-Kart technology, briefings as well as data analysis.

“It is a great opportunity for drivers to gain an insight in electric powered motorsports which offers a complete different racing experience with the fast acceleration, no engine sound and the ease of use of the Project E20”, said Peter Oelsinger, General Manager BRP-Rotax / Member of the Management Board, Vice President Sales, Marketing RPS-Business & Communications.
