OKJ - SORENSEN, THE CALIFORNIA KID
Junior has its new pole man for the last scheduled race, a new name making his debut in the category. Kai Sorensen recorded the best overall time of 1.03.256, a stratospheric lap time able to beat all the competition and secure the first pole in his career in FIA Karting competitions. Behind the talented American, second position for Matheus Ferreira, first of the pursuers of Freddie Slater in the fight for the Championship, leader of Group B. The provisional top three is completed by a good Jan Przyrowski as leader of group C, three more poles assigned to Gustaw Wisniewski, James Egozi and Keanu Al Azhari for groups D, E and F. Thirteenth time for leader Freddie Slater, third in Group A.
OK - ANTONELLI STARTS SETTING HIS PACE
The fight for the Senior classification is already very exciting since the qualifying session. All the title contenders have not lost heart and have already revealed their cards in view of the heats. Andrea Kimi Antonelli repeats again the pole position in 1.00.715, taking advantage of Nikola Tsolov always in great shape and in second place overall. Third position for a rediscovered Rafael Camara, leader of group C, one step away from the best time. Fourth position for the first outsider, the McLaren driver Ugo Ugochukwu, fifth Arvid Lindblad, pole man in Group E and first pursuer of Antonelli.
