In the opening round of the European KZ Championship final in Sarno, Flavio Camponeschi has a great start in the lead and keeps behind Ardigò and Hanley, with the Brit taking over 2nd place later on in the race.
Everyone else is forced to a secondary role. Bad luck for Kozlinski, who brakes his leg in an accident in the latter stages of the race.
In KZ2, Fasberg takes the win in the final ahead of Hiltbrand, brilliantly up from 13th on starting grid. With them on the podium, Italy's Crg driver Felice Tiene. Bad luck for the two protagonists of the prefinal, Cavalieri and Corberi, out for a damaged rear bumper the former, penalized for a jump start the latter.
