Tony Kart Junior Team chooses Laura Tillett in SKF category

Tony Kart Junior Team is glad to announce the new arrival of the young driver Laura Tillett amongst its own first lines.

The English promising young woman will see her début with the official Tony Kart-Vortex colours on the occasion of the Genk WSK Euro Series’ competition, in Belgium, and will line up in one of the most prestigious categories of the international karting scene, the Super KF.
Paul Spencer, its team manager, is this way giving a valid contribution to its team in this category and now he is preparing to enter the master class, by determination and enthusiasm.

She already proved her performances in the SKF category and she will be able to do even better in the next competitions. To get a drive with such a fantastic and successful team is something you dream of as a young kart racer, but you never think it will happen to you. Once it had been confirmed, I was very excited about the deal it has been something I have wanted since I was a little girl. I think that the team are professional and have always achieved great results. This is a great opportunity for me and to prove myself as a driver. I am looking forward to working with Tony kart and progressing, I hope to achieve some great results.”

Laura Tillett’s competitive sporting-career
2005: driver in the Junior category of the English Championship, clearly showing her driving skills. In the same season she competes at the top of the European Junior Rotax Championship.
2006: she runs off both the European Championship and the English Championship in the Junior category, distinguishing amongst the best drivers.
2007: she enters the ICA category and always gains the top positions both in European and Country competitions .
2008: competes in KF2 category both in the British and in the European Championship. Takes the 5th place in the PF Kartmasters.
2009: she is a top-level driver in the European Championship of KF2 category, takes the 11° position in the British Championship and makes her début in the Super KF category qualifying for the European Championship’s final, furthermore she proves her top-skills in the world Championship held in Macao.
