Rotax Nordic Challenge continues in Latvia with over 100 entries

Compared to the first round of the Baltic karting championship, the practice days were met with a lot of heavy rain and wind caused by the prompt arrival of local thunderstorms. This did, however, mean that each of the competitors had a chance to test out the newly renovated 333 Baltic Circuit in wet conditions. Luckily on Saturday - race day - the rain stopped and returned to surprise everyone only during the award ceremony together with the champagne showers of the celebrations.

In total, there were 105 Rotax drivers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Norway and Georgia who participated, thereby increasing the grid to include 11 countries now. Each session offered fierce battles, which most definitely created an entertaining display of racing for all the spectators, aided by RMCET series commentator Alex Goldschmidt adding to the hype of the exciting competition.

With six RMC Grand Finals 2023 tickets to be awarded at the third and final round to the end of season highlight in Bahrain on December 2-9, the last event is bound to be an absolute thriller! Round 3 of the Rotax Nordic Challenge takes place further north across the border in Estonia at Aravete on August 18-19.
