40th Trofeo delle Industrie - 6th-7th NOVEMBER 2010
7 Laghi Circuit, Castelletto di Branduzzo, Pavia-Italy
Parma, 5th October 2010. The countdown for the 40th “Trofeo delle Industrie” has already begun. Parma Karting, as usual, is taking care of the promotion and organization of this well established winter karting meeting, due next 6th and 7th November on the 7 Laghi Circuit at Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia – Italy). Entries for this traditional and important event opened last 4th October; the event is about to celebrate its 40th birthday and it is the only one in Italy which has taken place since 1971 without any interruption.
The race is open to foreign entrants. The categories on track will be the following: KF3, KF2, 125 Italia, 60 Mini and, for the first time ever, the single brand trophies ROK (with the Rok and Super Rok categories) and Challenge IAME X30. Among the first entrants of this important event of karting the name of the Russian driver Robert Shwartzman (Lenzokart-Lke) stands out in the 60 mini category. He has recently won the CSAI 60 Mini National Trophy and won last year’s edition of the Trofeo delle Industrie. Anyway, there are other important names of international karting in all the categories, where all the major teams are ready to deploy their best drivers and equipment. Teams like Birel Junior Team, Comer, Intrepid and Tony Kart, besides other major Italian and foreign teams, will take part in the competition.
The track will be available for practice from 1st to 4th November. Then the programme provides for sporting checks and free practice on Friday 5th November, while on Saturday 6th November there are the qualifying practice and the first qualifying heats. On Sunday 7th November further qualifying heat and the finals.
The prize list is, as usual, rich: lots of technical equipment, chassis and accessories provided by major constructors in order to keep on the usual support given to this event by all the top karting constructors. Entries close on 25th October 2010
