The Super Master Series is back on track with the first round on the calendar. On Friday in Adria, absolute pole positions for Bedrin (OK), Badoer (OKJ) and Matveev (60 Mini).
60 Mini - Matveev puts everyone in line
Just like seven days ago, the 60 Mini again speaks Russian and does so immediately with Dmitry Matveev (Energy), competitive on the Venetian track and absolute pole man with 54.783 as the best lap. Behind him, rivals Gladysz (Parolin) and Saeter (Revolution) take the second and third positions, respectively on pole for groups B and C. Last two group poles assigned to Przyrowsky (AV Racing) and Khavalkin (Parolin) for groups D and E.
OKJ - Badoer encore
Brando Badoer grabs pole position in OKJ again with the best lap in 49.757, a moment of exemplary form for Badoer, still captain of the KR fleet ahead of Kuchaeczyk (Birel Art), again surprising in qualifying, and Cristian Ho (Sauber Racing). Tony Kart immediately on the upper floors with Karol Pasiewicz, pole of group D; confirming his competitiveness also Ugo Ugochukwu (RFM), pole man of group E.
OK - Bedrin no limits
The much-awaited fight for the Senior starts again in style and this time it's Nikita Bedrin (Ward Racing) to take the headlines on Friday with a best lap of 48.780, proving to be still as fast as a week ago in the new category. Applause also for Enzo Trulli at his season's debut with KR and immediately very fast with the pole position of group B, Andrea Kimi Antonelli closes the top three, ready to make up for lost ground due to his flu at the Champions Cup. Last two first positions obtained from the Forza Racing spearhead, Dilano Van T'Hoff, and Kirill Smal (Energy), in top five. With the pole positions now assigned, space for the program of heats today and tomorrow.
