Kimi Raikkonen wasted no time in finding his heir, despite the fact that he's only 4 years old: his son Robin in a Kart.
Robin Raikkonen is already a "star" in the paddock of Formula 1, since he is always next to his father and often engaged in cute little sideshows with Kimi. DNA being what it is, and given the winning past of Raikkonen Sr, the last Ferrari world champion in 2007, great expectations lie down the road...
The news was leaked on Instagram by Kimi himself, where he posted photos and videos of the kart test on a CRG Minikart. Actually these last few runs are not firsts, as Robin Raikkonen had already sat in a kart (always CRG) but that was only a photo-op.
After Jos and Max Verstappen, Alexander Wurz and sons, is another racing family dynasty looming? At the moment it is too early to say, given that Kimi Raikkonen limited himself to being sarcastic about the test, but tomorrow who knows …?
