The FIA season comes alive with the first round of the 2019 European Championship.
On the French track in Angerville, the protagonists of OK and OKJ are ready to do battle for the first weekend of the season.
OK - Hunting Travisanutto
After the World Cup won in Kristianstad, Lorenzo Travisanutto will be the man to beat. In recent WSK events, Dexter Patterson has already made it clear that he can be a worthy successor to Travisanutto, winning the Super Master Series. In addition to Patterson, among the top contenders are Taylor Barnard and Gabriele Minì, who've come to the fore, despite the debut season. Not least Dino Beganovic and Gabriel Bortoleto, other worthy pretenders to the role of seasonal outsiders. The European path, long and tortuous, will bring to the spotlight the next protagonists of the Senior, word then to the track.
OKJ - Antonelli favorite?
As usual, Junior will hold the stage with new fights and challenges after the success of Paul Aron during the past season. From the first seasonal races, Andrea Kimi Antonelli seemed to be in better shape than the competition, winning the WSK Master Series but not without difficulty. Great expectations for Ricky Flynn Motorsport with Ten Brinke, Lursen and Van Hoepen; also rising is Jamie Day, on the podium of the last races. Enzo Trulli will try to defend the CRG colors, while Birel Art will attack all-out with Camara and Bertuca.
Appointment tomorrow with free practice and qualifications, Saturday 20 dedicated to the heats before the grand finale on Sunday 21st April.
