Il Tony Kart Racing Team is glad to announce that Alessandro Piccini will race with Tony Kart and Vortex colours in the next WSK World Series’ events.
The Tuscan multi-champion, already racing for our Racing Team in the past, reached an agreement to race in the next WSK World Series events, Piccini will wear the “Green” colour, at the side of his son Alessio.
The youngest from the Piccini family is actually engaged with Tony Kart material in the WSK World Series, KF3 category, where is doing a valid international experience.
With Tony Kart and Vortex colours, Piccini family’s racing dinasty will satisfy the very high passion for competitions and Alessandro will be able to continue his already wonderful career with his three European Championships and four World
Alessandro Piccini, 46 years old, will be one of his son’s team-mates, creating such an unprecedented situation in the
world karting scene, as the WSK World Series.

What is driving you so strongly to these highest levels’ competitions?
“My passion for kart racings is the first boost, very strong. Luckily I am physically fit to race without any problems and I also wish to compare with a lot of motivated and stirred youths . Being competitive at these levels means to accomplish the results thanks to my strong passion and motivating force”.
You’ll race side by side with Alessio. What are your feelings being your son’s team-mate?
“I am the oldest racing kart driver, more than 30 years now, and race in such an important competition at my son’s side, as team-mates, is a question of great pride.
The karting gave a lot to me and I still wish to give a contribution, a little one, to our sport. I believe that racing at my son’s side, doing my best, means to set a positive sign for anybody”
