CRG-Maxter official team ready to play a leading role in the opening race of the

WSK Euro Series

Muro Leccese, 7th March 2010
The opening meeting of the great international karting at Muro Leccese, on 7th March.
CRG-Maxter, with its drivers, ready for another season full of successes.

Desenzano  del  Garda (Brescia  – Italy),  3rd  March 2010.  With  the  collective tests at the beginning of the week  and  the  free practice of  these  days,  on  the International  Circuit  La Conca  at  Muro  Leccese(Lecce- Italy),  the  intense preparatory  session  for  the first  season  event  of  the WSK Euro Series has started, with  an  excellent  list  of participants  which confirms the top level reached by this international  karting championship.

The  beginning  of  the  season has showed that CRG chassis and  Maxter  engines  are already highly performing and competitive, confirming that the All Blacks are ready to take the lead of the rankings  and  to  repeat  the  extraordinary  achievements  of  their  sports  history.  The  opening meeting presents 260 drivers from all around the world; in this first round of the season CRG-Maxter official team gets on the track with its best drivers in all the four categories: KZ1, Super KF, KF2 and KF3. In the top category with shift gear, the KZ1, the three-time world champion Jonathan Thonon will defend the colours of the Italian team, while the new world champion Arnaud Kozlinski will try to regain the WSK title in Super KF, together with David Forè - already winner of several titles -, with the young Felice Tiene and  Eddy  Tinini.  In  KF2  the  team  reposes  its  hopes  for  a  good  result  in  the  Argentinean  driver  Roberto
Franco Curia and in Giovanni Martinez, Italian driver from Sardinia.

Great expectations too from the quick young Danish driver Michelle Gatting of the CRG Junior Team, brilliant protagonist in the last Winter Cup at Lonato. In the category reserved to the youngest drivers, the KF3, CRG can draw up the new international star Max Verstappen, twelve-year-old son of the former F1 driver Jos Verstappen, very motivated despite his  young  age  and  already  near  to  get  a  win  in  the  last  Winter  Cup  at  his  debut  in  this  international category.  Great  opportunities  to  achieve  a  top  position  in  the  final  ranking  for  the  young  French  talent Benjamin Gérard, as well as for Mario Ziletti, at his debut.
The event of Muro Leccese will be the  first  of  the  five meetings of  the new WSK Euro Series, with three events in Italy with Lonato (28th March) and Sarno (6th June), an event in Spain at Zuera (18th April) and one in Belgium (Genk, 9th May).
