De Conto takes the Euro crown in KZ1

The flagship of Energy was among the eligible candidates to victory since the start of the weekend. The only opponent that could blow his chances was Marcò Ardigò. But halfway through the final, the Tonykart driver suffered a flat rear tyre right when De Conto seemed close enough to surrender his lead. Too bad for Marco, because the end of the race would have surely provided more emotions. Having therefore avoided the risk of a battle with very experienced Ardigò, De Conto flew to the chequered flag undisturbed. De Brabander finished second on the podium just ahead of Convers. Bas Lammers missed the train to an exciting recovery immediately after the start following a collision, just like Thonon. The fastest lap of the race was stopped by Kozlinski (CRG / Maxter) who then retired.

In KZ2, the race was virtually decided in the early laps when Federer had the better at the start taking the lead, also managing to build it up lap after lap. While the group fought behind for position, he gained a considerable lead that would prove too big by the end, sealing the final result. Behind Federer, Croatian Habulin hindered the chances of the other title pretenders for as long as 12 laps, when first Kokko and Johansson later managed to break through the inertia. But it was too late to get back on the leader. Federer went on to triumph in KZ2. On the podium, a brilliant Johansson and Torsellini, author of the fastest lap of the race, was stuck for too long in the brawl for fifth position. Fourth was prefinal winner Kokko preceding Habulin and Celenta.

De Vries hits the poker in KF1 World Championship
Nyck De Vries ends happily his German trip by winning four finals out of four scheduled between Saturday and Sunday. A true domination of the young Dutch driver, and if these are the premises of more of the same to come, the World Championship will soon lose interest.
The fight was all in for the other podium positions. In the last final the co-stars were Bailly and Camponeschi, but in the championship Karol Basz sits in 2^nd, with Bailly 3rd.
