Class line-up announced for November 16-20 outside Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino. To help start the race to SuperNationals glory, the organization is happy to open up their online registration on June 1. There are only 169 days left until the organization’s marquee event – the SKUSA SuperNationals.
Last year’s event reached historic measures, with 500 competitors traveling in from all across North America and around the world. The race will return to the Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on November 16-20, and this year’s competition will be the landmark 15th edition of the great event.
With all of the categories on the line-up utilizing a cap on the number of entries to participate, SKUSA is anticipating that they will see many of the classes fill up quickly, as they have for the past few seasons. The online registration for the SKUSA SuperNationals XV will go live at www.skusastore.com at midnight on Tuesday, May 31. Drivers wishing to be certain that they will be included in the event are encouraged to enter as soon as possible. The weekend schedule has its limits, and only a couple of classes will be extended past the 40-driver mark.
“It’s hard to believe that the 15th edition of the SuperNats is just around the corner,” stated Superkarts! USA President Tom Kutscher. “I can remember racing in the early years of the event, and now having promoted the last five editions, it’s amazing when you realize where it is today. I can’t thank our dedicated staff enough for all of their hard work over the years – and the support of those who come every year to participate, making the event what it is. We have a lot of things in the works to help celebrate this 15th year. Put that together with what we expect to be another stacked driver roster enjoying the atmosphere of Las Vegas, and this year’s event will be like no other.”
A total of 11 classes – the same from the 2010 edition – will once again battle on the temporary circuit overlooking the Las Vegas Strip. The line-up will feature the best shifterkart and TaG drivers from the United States and around the world. In order to fit all the categories into the daily schedule, all classes will have a maximum entry that once hit, will begin the waiting list process. Last year, TaG Senior, S2, S4, TaG Master, TaG Junior, and TaG Cadet all reached numbers over 40 – and SKUSA is expecting the same for 2011. The following is the list of classes to be offered for this year’s SKUSA SuperNationals:
S1 – Pro Stock Moto
S2 – Semi-Pro Stock Moto
S4 – Master Stock Moto – 30 years of age or older
S5 – Junior Stock Moto
G1 – ICC or Built Moto – 30 years of age or older
KZ2 – (per CIK rules)
KF2 – (per CIK rules)
TaG Senior – Approved SKUSA TaG Engines
TaG Master – Approved SKUSA TaG Engines
TaG Junior – Parilla Leopard
TaG Cadet – MiniRok
With this year’s edition marking the 15th running of the SKUSA SuperNationals, the organization is working to make the five days in November another historic event. The daily timetable will again see SKUSA’s innovative split schedule, which features five classes run in the morning and six in the afternoon. This style of program offers teams and drivers more time to enjoy the event, including spending more time to enjoy the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas.
Online race registration will open at midnight (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, May 31, as well as the special room code SRSNA11 for the Rio, which will again offer up an incredible room rate for the duration of the event. The online hotel booking link will be posted by midnight, May 31 as well, on www.superkartsusa.com/national/skusa-supernationals.html
