RACE REPORT – Rotax Euro Challenge Rnd. 1
The opening round of the Rotax event has been given a chilly, wet welcome back to the magnificent 1495m Sologne Karting Circuit at Salbris, France. The rain no doubt changed the possible outcome of the first meeting of the championship, and yet it didn’t stop almost 190 very keen competitors coming from more than 30 nations to contest the ever-popular Euro Challenge, now beginning its fifth year as the most competitive international Rotax series in the World.
NATIONAL RACES
The best national racing series from around the world. The British calendar is packed with events: Super One MSA Series, Rotax Series, ABkC ‘O’ Plate and BRDC Stars of Tomorrow. French FFSA Grand Prix Rnd.1-2 sees many international drivers on top. The Benelux Series (BNL) at its first season presents some important names on starting grid. Hungary builds up on last year success, while Denmark features 3 events in two weeks. Brazil gets heated action with the Paulista and Sul-brasileiro Championships, and Japan features the first KF1 event of the season.
