An international weekend of podiums, comebacks and strong performances

From Franciacorta to Genk, via Anneville, Zwartkops, Pärnu and Ptuj, DAG drivers collected podiums, heat victories, important comebacks and strong performances, once again competing in highly competitive karting and international motorsport environments.

A weekend that tells not only the story of results, but also of growth, the ability to react to challenges and consistency throughout the development journey of the young drivers represented by the agency.


NILAS MALIK – P22 – IAME EURO SERIES, GENK – X30 JUNIOR
A very positive weekend for Nilas Malik in Genk, where he showed impressive pace and a strong ability to fight his way forward.
After finishing P18 overall in qualifying, Nilas stepped up his performance in the Qualifying Heats: P4, gaining six positions in the first heat, victory in the second and P3, recovering another six positions in the third. A sequence of outstanding results that saw him climb to P3 overall after the heats.
After the Super Heat, Nilas lined up for the final in P11 and delivered another convincing performance, fighting his way up to P6 at the chequered flag. A subsequent penalty dropped him back to P22, but this does not change the overall picture of a weekend in which he proved capable of consistently competing at the front.
Beyond the final classification, the weekend confirms Nilas’ strong potential and his ability to respond to difficulties by turning them into important comebacks.
Fast – claimed one victory and two top-four finishes in the Qualifying Heats.
A fighter – recovered numerous positions both in the heats and in the final, climbing from P11 to P6.
Competitive – showed that he can consistently fight for the leading positions in a highly competitive event.

BRODI COOPER DOWLING – P4 – RMC SOUTH AFRICA, ZWARTKOPS – ROTAX JUNIOR
A weekend as a front-runner for Brodi Cooper Dowling, who remained consistently among the leaders and competitive throughout the entire event.
After an excellent P3 in qualifying, Brodi made the perfect start to the heats, taking victory in Heat 1. He followed this with a P7 and an impressive P2, before finishing the final heat in P12.
The final result was a solid P4 overall in Junior Max, confirming the speed and consistency he displayed throughout the weekend.
Another important performance in the South African championship, where Brodi continues to prove that he can regularly fight at the front and compete among the best. Brodi also secured the RMC South Africa championship, achieving the title in his first season in the Junior category and finishing with a substantial advantage over his rivals.
Fast – secured P3 in qualifying and an impressive victory in Heat 1.
Consistent – remained firmly among the leading group throughout the weekend.
Competitive – his P4 overall in Junior Max confirms his ability to fight at the front.

MIA ZANKI – RMC AUSTRIA & FIA CEZ, PTUJ – ROTAX JUNIOR
RACE 1: P7 Overall – P2 RMC Austria

RACE 3: P15 Overall – P6 RMC Austria
OVERALL RESULT: P3 RMC Austria
Another positive weekend for Mia Zanki, competing in Ptuj and immediately showing strong pace from qualifying onwards.
The young driver secured an impressive P2 overall and P1 among the RMC Austria competitors, once again confirming the high level of competitiveness she has reached.
In the first two races on Sunday, Mia confirmed her pace, securing two P2 finishes in the RMC Austria classification, before closing the final race with a P6 in class. A solid and consistent performance that allowed her to score valuable points and remain among the leading positions. Mia ultimately finished the weekend with P3 overall and a podium finish.
Overall, another weekend full of positive indications, confirming Mia’s continued development and her increasingly consistent presence among the front-runners.
Competitive – secured P2 overall and victory among the RMC Austria competitors.
Consistent – scored two P2 finishes in the first two Sunday races, remaining at the front.
Developing – continues to demonstrate progress and increasing maturity on track from one race to the next.

WSK FINAL CUP – FRANCIACORTA, ROUND 1
Three DAG Management drivers took part in the opening round of the WSK Final Cup in Franciacorta, facing an intense weekend across the OK, OKJ and Mini GR3 categories and gaining valuable experience and insights in one of the most competitive environments in international karting.

BENJAMIN WESTWOOD – P20 – OK
A positive weekend for Benjamin Westwood, who showed strong pace and excellent potential from qualifying onwards.
His P3 in his qualifying session earned him P5 overall after qualifying, giving him a strong starting point for the heats.
Throughout the heats, Benji confirmed his pace, remaining within the leading group and finishing P8 overall. A result that confirms his ability to consistently fight in the important positions.
The final day, however, did not allow him to fully capitalise on what he had built during the opening stages. After the Prefinal, Benji was P10 overall, while in the final he crossed the finish line in P15, before being classified P20.
Nevertheless, the weekend provided plenty of positive indications, with Benjamin demonstrating pace, speed and competitiveness, confirming his ability to remain consistently within the leading group.
Fast – secured P3 in his qualifying session and P5 overall after qualifying.
Competitive – remained within the leading group after the heats, finishing P8 overall.
Promising – despite the final result, the pace shown throughout the weekend confirms his strong potential.

TARIQ SOOFI – P35 – MINI GR3
A weekend of continuous progress for Tariq Soofi, who produced a strong improvement throughout the heats.
After finishing qualifying in P40, Tariq began his comeback by gaining four positions in the first heat, another four in the second and an impressive ten in the third, which he finished in P10.
A significant comeback that allowed him to climb to P26 at the end of the heats, showing increasing competitiveness session after session and the ability to recover ground in an extremely selective field.
The weekend highlighted his reaction to adversity, consistent progress and ability to build strong comebacks, turning a difficult qualifying result into a much more positive overall progression.
A fighter – recovered a total of 18 positions across the three heats.
Progressive – improved consistently throughout the weekend, culminating in P10 in the third heat.
Determined – despite a difficult P40 in qualifying, he continued to fight his way forward to P26.

JULIA ANGELARD – P50 – OKJ
A challenging but valuable weekend for Julia Angelard in Franciacorta, in an event featuring an extremely competitive field. After finishing P31 overall in qualifying, Julia continued to work session after session, looking for the best feeling and trying to recover ground.
The heats, however, did not allow her to complete the comeback she was looking for, leaving her P50 overall at the end of the heats. In Prefinal B, Julia finished P23, a result that did not allow her to qualify for the final.
The final result was certainly not what she had hoped for, but the weekend nevertheless represents valuable experience in a high-level environment. An event to learn from and build upon, using everything gained from the experience and the work carried out to arrive even better prepared for the upcoming races.
Determined – continued working despite the difficulties encountered throughout the weekend.
Resilient – faced a challenging event without stopping the search for solutions.
Developing – the experience gained in Franciacorta will be important for her development and upcoming events.


MARKAS ŠILKŪNAS & VANESA SILKUNAITE – BALTIC TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP, PÄRNU – BMW TURBO CUP
RACE 1: P5
RACE 2: P3
2H ENDURANCE: P2 CLASS / P10 OVERALL
A very interesting weekend in touring cars for Markas Šilkūnas and Vanesa Silkunaite in Pärnu, competing in an event that required great adaptability to a category different from karting and single-seaters.
The weekend got off to the best possible start with P1 in free practice, followed by a solid P3 in class in qualifying. The races then delivered important results, including P3 in Race 2 and, most notably, an excellent P2 in class in the 2H Endurance, which they also finished P10 overall.
A positive and valuable experience for both drivers, who demonstrated their ability to quickly adapt to a different environment and car. A result that adds further versatility and maturity to Markas and Vanesa’s sporting development.
Versatile – successfully adapted to the challenge of touring car racing.
Competitive – P1 in free practice, P3 in Race 2 and P2 in class in the Endurance confirmed their pace.
Reliable – managed a long-distance race with consistency, finishing P10 overall in the 2H Endurance.

MAXIME NOEPPEL – P16 – FFSA JUNIOR ACADEMY CHAMPIONSHIP, ANNEVILLE
A hard-fought weekend full of positive indications for Maxime Noeppel in Anneville. Starting from P12 in qualifying, Maxime began building his comeback from the very first heat, gaining four positions to finish P8. In the second heat, he confirmed the same result, demonstrating consistency and strong race pace.
His P10 in the Prefinal secured his place in the final after an overall solid progression. In the final, Maxime finished P16, a result that does not fully reflect the positive aspects he demonstrated during the earlier stages of the weekend.
An event that provided valuable experience and highlighted several areas to continue working on. The direction is the right one, and the work continues ahead of the upcoming events.
Competitive – consistently fought within the middle of the field while showing good pace.
Consistent – secured two consecutive P8 finishes in the heats, confirming his level of performance.
Developing – the weekend provided important indications to build on for future results.

The weekend once again highlights the variety of the work carried out by DAG Management, with drivers competing across different categories, championships and countries.
