Julia Angelard is heading to Franciacorta for the WSK Final Cup.

In just a few days, the inaugural round of the last karting series in the 2026 season will begin – the WSK Final Cup at the Franciacorta track.
Among the competitors competing in the OKJ category is also 14-year-old Julia Angelard, who will take part in this series with the Ward Racing team, whose colors she represented last year.
Like other competitors, the teenage Polish woman is using the end of the season to prepare for the 2027 season and develop her racing career.

While Formula 1 drivers have returned to competition after the summer break, in the world of karting a large part of the series is heading towards the final rounds, and drivers are looking for opportunities to test themselves in new categories or teams before the start of the next season.
The first round of the WSK Final Cup series, taking place at the Franciacorta circuit from August 26-30, 2026, is a perfect opportunity.
Among the drivers arriving on Italian soil is Julia Angelard, who we'll also see in a new role this season.

Return to one of her favorite tracks

The inauguration of the WSK Final Cup at the Franciacorta Karting Track is good news for the Polish teenager, who has competed there several times last year, participating in both the WSK Super Master Series and the full ROK Cup Italia season. For the ORLEN Motorsport Academy protégé, visit to Italy isn't the only return this coming weekend. As part of the WSK Final Cup series, Julia Angelard will once again compete in the yellow and black colors of the Ward Racing team, which are well-known to her and her fans.
Despite the holidays, August was an intense month for the Polish driver, dedicated to preparing for the final karting rounds of the season and for preparatory tests for the 2027 season.
Julia Angelard spent last weekend at the Zandvoort track, where, at the invitation of the F1 Academy and More Than Equal, she had the opportunity to see behind the scenes of the McLaren team, meet the drivers, and meet the F1 Academy paddock.

"After an intense time with Birel ART this year, it's time for a fresh start – my first race weekend with my new-old team at one of my favorite tracks. I have fond memories of both Ward Racing and Franciacorta itself, so I'm looking forward to this weekend and the upcoming competition on track. Like other competitors, for me, the WSK Final Cup is also a form of training in competitive conditions and preparation for the next season in my career. JULIA ANGELARD, a 14-year-old karting racer, member of the ORLEN Motorsport Academy and a protégé of Minardi Management, is a member of the PZM junior national karting team in the 2025 and 2026 seasons. In the 2026 season, she will compete for Birel ART and the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, and participate in the More Than Equal project and the F1 Academy Discover Your Drive program.
She began competing in karting at the age of 4. She began her professional starts in the Rotax Max Challenge Poland series in the years 2017-2022 in the MicroMax and Minimax categories. In 2023, at the age of 11, she started in the ROK Cup Poland in the Junior category. In September 2023, she made her international debut as part of the ROK Superfinal and ROK Cup Italia, where she also appeared in 2024, becoming the fastest and highest ranked competitor and advancing 17 positions in one of the races. In the 2025 season, she competed in the Polish Karting Championship, ROK Cup Italia, and Champions of the Future Academy, finishing second in the second round of the series in Jesolo.
