Mia Zanki was the protagonist at Bruck/Speedworld in a particularly intense program, tackling two different competitions at the same time, with two different karts. Mia's weekend began with Round 4 of the ROK Cup Austria, held on Saturday. In qualifying she secured a solid P3, before finishing the two races in P7 and P4 respectively, collecting important points for the standings.
Sunday brought Round 5, where Mia confirmed her level: P4 in qualifying, followed by a double P4 in the two races.
A consistency of performance that, added to the great work built up throughout the season, allowed her to reach an extraordinary milestone: Mia Zanki is mathematically ROK Austria Champion with a day to spare.
The title, however, is not the only great satisfaction: thanks to the points earned during the championship, Mia has also secured qualification for the ROK Super Finals, guaranteeing her access to the international event that brings together the season's top protagonists.
But the weekend still had another story to tell.
On that same Saturday, simultaneously with Round 4 of the ROK Cup Austria, Mia was also competing in the Slovenian Karting Cup, taking on a second competition with a different kart.
The change of vehicle and context didn't slow the young driver down in the slightest — she immediately showed great adaptability. Mia claimed pole position in Rotax Junior Max qualifying, then dominated both heats, taking P1 in the First Run and P1 in the Second Run, on her way to the overall victory.
A result that carries even more weight considering the double commitment faced on the same day.
