The Åsum Ring circuit in Kristianstad, Sweden, continues to provide the stage for high-speed action and intense competition in Europe's premier karting championships. It is at this demanding venue that Brazilian driver Dudu Salamonde (Minardi Management powered by DAG / EXA Tecnologia / Vero Coco / DKR / RL Eng. Design / Casa Barô / SOMA Blindados / Team: Parolin Racing / Coach: Gianluca Beggio) is writing another important chapter in his racing career.
This week marks one month since the Brazilian driver arrived in Sweden, where he has been following an intensive schedule of testing and competing at the highest level.

Salamonde's extended stay in Kristianstad is part of a long-term development program focused on maximizing his performance in the highly competitive OK category. During the fourth round of the Champions of the Future, held last weekend at Åsum Ring, the mileage accumulated throughout his testing program further strengthened both his confidence and that of the team.

The Brazilian's performance was a major highlight of the event. Salamonde recorded the best result among all Brazilian drivers competing in the OK category during Saturday's races, confirming his steady progress throughout the season. The result also demonstrated that the work carried out alongside Parolin Racing continues to deliver consistent improvements against one of the strongest fields in international karting.

Attention now shifts to the fourth round of the FIA Karting European Championship, once again taking place at Åsum Ring. Converting the knowledge gained over the past several weeks into on-track performance will be the primary objective. Salamonde believes he has everything in place to take another significant step forward and fight for even stronger positions throughout the weekend.

"It's been a very demanding month here. We've done a lot of testing, raced every opportunity we had, and every lap has been a learning experience. I had a solid weekend in the Champions of the Future and was pleased with the result, but I know we can go even further. I'm fully focused on the European Championship and I'll do everything I can to achieve an even stronger result," said Salamonde.

As a factory driver for Parolin Racing and a member of Minardi Management powered by DAG, the Brazilian is also looking ahead to important developments that are expected to shape the next stage of his career in the coming weeks. Although those plans remain confidential for now, Salamonde's immediate priority remains his continued progress on track.

"There is a lot of work being done behind the scenes to define my next steps, and everything is being carefully planned. Right now, however, my focus is 100% on the European Championship round in Kristianstad. I want to make the most of every session on track and give my absolute best. When the time is right, I'll be happy to share the news with everyone," the driver added.

The official event schedule begins on Thursday (July 30) with the free practice sessions. Friday (July 31) features qualifying, which will determine the starting grids, followed by the opening qualifying heats for the OK category.
The remaining heats will take place on Saturday (August 1), deciding which drivers advance to the championship's decisive phase.

Buoyed by his encouraging performance last weekend, Dudu believes he has everything required to qualify for Sunday's (August 2) final races, when the Super Heat and the championship Final will be contested.
