Kristianstad (SWE), July 26, 2026

Dudu Salamonde’s European season (Minardi Management powered by DAG / EXA Tecnologia / Vero Coco / DKR / RL Eng. Design / Casa Barô / SOMA Blindados / Team: Parolin Racing / Coach: Gianluca Beggio) gained an important new chapter this weekend during the fourth round of the Champions of the Future, held at the Asum Ring circuit in Kristianstad, Sweden.
The São Paulo-born driver showcased progress, speed, and consistency to achieve the best result among the Brazilian representatives in the OK category.

From the very first practice sessions, Dudu showed that he was ready to fight for the top positions. The work carried out alongside the Parolin Racing team and Minardi Management powered by DAG has been directly reflected on track, allowing the driver to reach an excellent level of performance while facing a highly competitive grid of 91 entries.

After the free practice sessions, Salamonde secured a spot in Group A for qualifying. In an extremely competitive environment, every detail made a difference in the formation of the grids for the qualifying heats. So much so that, throughout the five races held during the event, Dudu Salamonde crossed the finish line as the best Brazilian driver in the category in four of them — a result that secured the Parolin Racing factory driver a place in Super Heat 1.

Before Saturday’s (25) decisive race, the warm-up session brought even more confidence to the entire team after Dudu recorded the second-fastest lap time among all OK drivers. The performance reinforced the expectation that the Brazilian could turn his strong pace into an even more impressive result.
In the Super Heat, Salamonde once again demonstrated speed and competitiveness, but his plans were compromised by a five-second penalty. Despite the setback, his performance throughout the entire weekend proved that the Brazilian driver was capable of fighting on equal terms with the leading names in the category.

“It was a very positive weekend. We were competitive from the very beginning of the sessions, I achieved good results in almost every Heat, and that put me into the Super Heat, so I am very happy with what we built. Being the best Brazilian driver in the category is a reason for great pride. Unfortunately, the Final slipped away because of a small detail, but that is part of racing. Now it is time to focus on next week, as we have the European Championship. I will remain fully focused on improving even further here at this track in Sweden,” said Dudu Salamonde.

As the driver mentioned, he has already shifted his focus toward the next challenge, once again at the Asum Ring circuit in Kristianstad, where he will compete in the fourth round of the FIA Karting European Championship.
The official free practice sessions for the event begin next Thursday (30), when the Brazilian driver will look to transform all the experience gained over the past few days into another important step in his European campaign.
