Silkunas debuts in single-seaters, karting returns with the WSK Super Master Series

Julia Angelard – P.76 – WSK Super Master Series, La Conca (Italy) – OKJ Category

First race of the year for Julia Angelard in the WSK Super Master Series. After a promising qualifying, the young driver faced demanding heats that did not allow her to fully express her potential. Her debut in the new Junior category proved to be an important challenge.
Despite the final result, Julia showed excellent feeling with the new material and category from the first sessions. It is a fundamental step in her growth path and she is expected to become more competitive as the season progresses and experience builds.

Jason Kosmopoulos – P.42 – WSK Super Master Series, La Conca (Italy) – OKJ Category

Jason began the season right where he left off, proving once again to be a fierce competitor with strong determination in the WSK Super Master Series. The young driver stood out throughout the heats, showing great skill despite the difficulties of returning to racing and the intense battles on track. In the pre-final, he pushed as far as he could, until a contact unfortunately forced him to retire. As a result, he did not qualify for the final.
Jason opens the new season with a fighting spirit and a strong desire to improve. For him, it is a growth path toward the next races, where he will need to capitalize on what he showed during this opening round.

Benjamin Westwood – P.59 – WSK Super Master Series, La Conca (Italy) – OKJ Category

For Benji, it was a weekend in which he once again showcased his strong pace in dry conditions, although work remains to be done when the track is wet. The young driver was fast every time the conditions suited him, proving he has everything needed to achieve strong results. The heats raced in wet conditions were more complicated and impacted his final result, preventing him from reaching the final.
Westwood kicks off his 2026 season by immediately finding speed and competitiveness. The main variable to improve remains wet weather performance, an area in which work is underway to ensure he can be effective in all conditions and consistently fight for top positions. Benji will make good use of this weekend’s experience to return even more prepared and determined.

Zack Zhu – P.38 – WSK Super Master Series, La Conca (Italy) – OKJ Category

A solid start to the weekend for Zack, immediately competitive and author of excellent performances throughout the heats. The French driver showed grit and great racecraft, further highlighted by a strong pre-final. Despite this, he missed the final by just two positions and could not battle for the front.
Zack begins 2026 with very encouraging signs: his competitiveness remains a key factor this season. His focus is already on the next race, with the goal of being even more prepared and achieving a strong result from the opening stages, especially considering the immediate good feeling with his new team, DPK Racing.

Nefeli Kosmopoulou – P.82 – WSK Super Master Series, La Conca (Italy) – OK Category

A learning weekend for Nefeli in the first event of the season. The young driver showed consistency and a solid overall performance, although she paid for her limited experience in the new category.
It is a significant step up for her and an important growth opportunity. With her fighting spirit, Nefeli will make the most of this debut to continue progressing already from the next races.

Vladimir Ivannikov – P.49 – WSK Super Master Series, La Conca (Italy) – OK Category

A more challenging weekend and season opener than expected for Vladimir in the WSK Super Master Series. The young driver encountered difficulties in both qualifying and the heats, also affected by unstable weather conditions that influenced performance and results.
Despite this, Vladimir once again proved his competitiveness and speed, elements that bode well for the rest of the season. The goal now is to reset and return to fighting at the front starting from next weekend, where everything will be done to achieve a result more in line with his potential.

Markas Silkunas – Formula Winter Series, Estoril (Portugal) – F4 Category

Single-seater debut for Markas Silkunas in the Formula Winter Series at Estoril. The weekend started in the best possible way, with the young Lithuanian showing strong pace despite being new to the category. Race 1 ended with a positive progression, featuring several overtakes and finishing in P15. A similar story unfolded in Race 2, where Markas confirmed improvement and rhythm, again finishing in P15 after losing a few positions on the final lap following a Safety Car restart. In the final race of the weekend, a good start was unfortunately compromised by a contact that ended his race prematurely.
Despite the final episode, Markas leaves Estoril with a positive debut. The Formula Winter Series represents a crucial proving ground for confronting new rivals and gaining confidence with Formula 4. The weekend highlighted his ability to adapt during the transition from karting to single-seaters, as well as significant room for growth ahead of the next rounds, also considering the weather conditions in Portugal.
