The 2024 Superkart season kicks off on May 18-20 at the famed Magny-Cours circuit with the French GP, promising an exciting international event. The race, part of the French Superkart Championship, will feature 35 competitors, reflecting a surge in participation. Organized by the Belgian promoter BGDC, known for its high-profile events, this year's competition is set to be even more competitive.

British drivers return in greater numbers, spurred by Andrew Gulliford's strong 2023 performance. Key contenders include 2023 champion Richard Van de Nes (Anderson/VM) and 2022 champion Julien Goullancourt (Anderson/DEA), both expected to deliver strong performances. German driver Andreas Jost (Anderson/VM) also returns after a two-year hiatus.

Notable British drivers Mark Edwards, Jack Triton, and Lee Harpham (MSKart/VM) will debut in the French championship, with Harpham in excellent form. The Karting Paradise Team (Anderson/VM) features standout drivers Jaime Zuleta and Léo Kurstjens, alongside the returning Morgan Valverde.
