The wait is over, and everything is set for the second edition of the RMC Asia Festival at the Sepang International Kart Circuit: the event aiming to become the premier karting gathering in Southeast Asia.

The Rotax MAX Challenge Asia Festival (RMCAF) has officially announced its second edition, scheduled to take place at the Sepang International Kart Circuit (SIKC) from January 26 to 28, 2024. Organized by Amprex Racing Services, a renowned authorized Rotax distributor in Malaysia, Brunei, and Vietnam, the event aspires to grow and become the leading annual karting rendezvous in Southeast Asia.

The Sepang International Kart Circuit, a 1.247 km track located in Selangor, just 45 km from Kuala Lumpur, has been chosen for its technical characteristics attributed by the renowned designer Hermann Tilke, making it a fast track. It is also renowned for hosting Formula 1's Malaysian Grand Prix until 2017 and continues to host MotoGP and various other illustrious motorsport events.

The Rotax-sponsored competition features six categories, including the brand-new MAX Masters. Each category has a participant limit set at 34, with the possibility of increasing the number upon request.

Winners in the Micro MAX, Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, and DD2 Masters categories will secure tickets to the Grand Finals 2024, scheduled to take place in Sarno, Italy. In addition to coveted tickets, substantial cash prizes are up for grabs: a total prize pool of RM400,000 (80,000 euros) will be distributed among the winning drivers.
