The KZ World Championship goes on stage at Prokart Raceland

- Races
This weekend the title of the KZ categories will be assigned at the Pro Kart Raceland circuit in Wackersdorf. Between the search for confirmations and some ‘old foxes’ hunting for the coup in the crowded KZ Master, the FIA circus returns to the track that hosted the World Championship for the last time in 2017.

KZ2: the top of World karting, for a result that looks uncertain
In addition to the 2022 champion Viktor Gustafsson (SWE), determined to defend his title and winner of the preparatory race for the World Championship on this track at the end of July, several world champions (5 in total) as well as a dozen former European champions, for a world championship of the highest level. The fight in KZ promises to be interesting, with the spotlights on the fresh 2023 European Champion Danilo Albanese (ITA) who will try the historic feat of bringing home the first world title in the shifter categories for KR. However, the list of favorites is very long, and includes the very top of KZ drivers, Jérémy Iglesias (FRA), the Dutch Senna van Walstijn and Stan Pex, Paolo Ippolito, Matteo Vigano and Riccardo Longhi, as well as the other French Emilien Denner and Tom Leuillet as well as the Le Mans KZ2 World Cup winner Arthur Carbonnel. Numerous outsiders, including the 2021 KZ2 Champion Lorenzo Travisanutto and the 2021 Vice World Champion Camplese.

KZ2: with no Slater on track, but with 125 drivers on track racing will be juicy..
Among the cadets, without the European Champion Slater, fresh from switching to cars, the fight promises no holds barred. The very young drivers who, coming from OK, have already shown great things in KZ2 such as Kean Nakamura-Berta (GBR), Alex Powell (JAM) and Tomass Stolcermanis (LVA), Maksim Orlov and the reigning OK world champion Matheus Morgatto (BRA) without forget the Italian Bertuca, very strong driver in KZ2 and currently 3rd in the International Karting Ranking (IKR), who is aiming for an historic result. To keep an eye on, among the many possible protagonists, the Romanian Daniel Vasile, runner-up in the European Championship, the Spaniard Jorge Pescador and the Finnish Paavo Tonteri. Four girls also competed: Eliška Simonová (CZE), Hannah Lang (GBR), Emma Felbermayr (AUT) and Laura Bourguet (FRA).

KZ2-Masters: open fight and historic returns
In the 'almost brand new' category of the KZ, the one launched by the FIA in 2022 which puts OVER35 drivers into competition, the participation was remarkable, with 72 registered drivers, among which the two BIG Davide Forè and Alessandro Manetti stand out, who prepared a lot for this race as recently told to Vroom, in addition to a good number of protagonists of various national championships.
