Round 3 of the OK European Championship at the Rødby Karting Ring

The new track of the Rødby Karting Ring, located in the south of the island of Lolland, two hours far from Copenhagen, is 1,245 m long and has a width and a development which, as seen in the recent 'rehearsal race' of the Champions of the Future, offers the basis for races that are as always very level and fought on the edge of the tenths. The total entrants, also considering the Academy, are 235, 93 in OK, 96 in OK-Junior and 46 in the Academy, representing 60 nations and with 19 wild-cards at the start.

First Match Point for Gomez in OK
The current classification leader, the Brazilian with Italian license of Team CRG Gabriel Gomez, who dominated the Champions of the Future Euro Series two weeks ago on this track, will aim to get the better of his direct rival, the Dutch Rene Lammers. As always, keep an eye on the KR trio Alex Powell (JAM), Kean Nakamura-Berta (GBR) and Enzo Tarnvanichkul (THA), with the expert Joe Turney (GBR) always ready to give any paw.

UNCERTAIN SITUATION IN THE JUNIOR CLASS
The British Lewis Wherrell seems to be the most formidable opponent for the leader, the Ukrainian Oleksandr Bondarev, and the second, the Belgian Thibaut Ramaekers, who will have no room for error in Rødby. Possible protagonists in a line-up full of potential outsiders are Stepan Antonov, Vivek Kanthan (USA), a surprise in this first part of the season. Other names to focus on for the weekend are definitely Zac Drummond (GBR), Taym Saleh (DEU), Iacopo Marinese (ITA), Alfie Slater (GBR) and Christian Costoya (ESP) in a category where surprises abound
