Gunskirchen, Austria, January 30, 2023 – BRP-Rotax is glad to announce that the 2023 Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy (RMCIT) will take place from July 25 th to 29 th , 2023 in LeMans, France.
The RMCIT is beside the RMC Grand Finals the biggest racing event of the Rotax karting season and is organized by 3MK Events in cooperation with LeMans Karting International/ACO Automobile Club de l’Ouest. Almost 300 enthusiastic Rotax racers were taking part in the past events to challenge with the international competitors from nearly 45 countries all over the world.
The RMC International Trophy is a 5-day event where the competitors from all over the world can win one of the sought-after tickets to the RMC Grand Finals, the annual highlight of the Rotax karting season. In the past years, the Micro MAX and Mini MAX categories were awarded with a special price, but these categories see a premier in 2023: Micro MAX and Mini MAX racers will also be awarded with a ticket to the Grand Finals, which are taking place in Bahrain from December 02-09, 2023!
LeMans is legendary, epic and all over the world one of the most known cities associated with Motorsport. Truly legends were born at the glorious Alain Prost circuit back in the 1970s-1990s at several World Karting Championships. Ayrton Senna (1978), Michael Schumacher (1985), Jarno Trulli (1991), as well as lots of other world class racers became famous on the 1172 m of the Alain Prost Circuit. It was a decision of the ACO to revive the glorious past back in 2013 with the 1384 m long LeMans Karting International track with a modern infrastructure and a fast, spectacular, and technical challenging circuit.
