Philippe Streiff, creator of the Masters Karting Paris Bercy, passes away

- News and Previews
The former F1 driver passed away at the age of 67. On a wheelchair after a nasty crash in Jacarepaguà in 1989 he had not taken away from racing

His name will always remain associated with the karting event that set the Paris-Bercy Sports Palace ablaze during the Christmas period with various F1 stars competing on karts. In 1993, the last epic – unaware – challenge between Senna and Prost went down in history as did the 2011 edition, in which electric racing karts were used for the first time. Hard character and great racing enthusiast, despite an adverse fate, he had continued until today to actively follow and support racing, especially in the field of people with disabilities.
