The second "quarter-final" sees two highly experienced drivers face off, one of whom is chasing at Le Mans a second World Title, at home, which would be historic.
Jeremy Iglesias boasts a World Championship in KZ won in a year different from all the others, 2020, and in a context that unjustly put a crystalline victory almost in second light, obtained with a perfect overtaking on the reigning champion Kremers, crowning a career in which he raced for many teams, always at the top but without kicking the paw as in that 2020 with IPK. From 2021 with CRG, a sign that even after a great triumph, the Frenchman does not lack the desire to question himself.
Matteo Viganò is also a very long-term driver. From the first years racing in KF (now OK) with some of the names currently fighting for the Formula 1 World Championship, the Italian has become an appreciated karting professional. Always present at the prestigious events of CIK FIA karting and beyond, in 2018 with Tony Kart he reached what is one of his most prestigious titles so far: the FIA Karting International Super Cup - KZ2 in Genk.In 2021 he was not very lucky, but he made up for it at the end of the year by winning the Supernats24 in Las Vegas, a street race that has now become an end-of-season classic and this first half of 2022 has brought the Lennox rider a European Vice-Champion title.
