Anatoly Khavalkin resumes European Championship race from Kristianstadad

Press Release by:
Anatoly Khavalkin is ready to get back on track for the OKJ European Championship, picking up where he left off at Portimao.

From the first round at Portimao to the Kristianstad round there were several events and a race in between in which Anatoly took part, again with good results. Despite the enforced absence from the second round in Zuera, the Parolin team rider has certainly not lost his competitiveness with one mission: to aim high for the general classification.

Anatoly knows that it will not be an easy thing to recover after the absence in Spain, but he also knows together with his team that he has all the means to be able to recover and tackle in the best possible way a track almost unknown until a fortnight ago and above all as demanding as the Swedish track of Kristianstad.

During the Champions Of The Future, in fact, Anatoly had the opportunity to become familiar with the Asum Ring, setting good lap times and demonstrating his ability to overtake and recover in the heats, right up to the podium in the final, where he even led the race for the first few laps.

All ingredients that Anatoly will try to put together starting tomorrow with official qualifying and the first heats. The heat programme will then continue on Saturday before the Super Heats and the final on Sunday 5 June.

Heats and final will be visible in streaming on the FIA Karting YouTube channel. All further updates on the official social channels (Facebook and Instagram).
