The FIA has just announced in an official statement that decisions on the events at Portimao, regarding the actions of Artem Severiukhin, will be taken after the hearing on Thursday 21 April.
Following ACI Sport's almost immediate decision to revoke Artem Severiukhin's licence, the International Federation has now made official the date of the hearing that will most likely lead to the decisive ruling on the Russian driver's fate.
In a note just published, the FIA has confirmed that the Stewards will hear both Artem Severiukhin and the Ward Racing team by video conference at 11.00am on Thursday 21 April.
The decision to also call in the team by the stewards could open up further scenarios on the decisions expected in these two weeks following the Portimao podium. After Severiukhin's statements, in which he claimed that some people from the podium had incited the gesture, it is legitimate to expect more in-depth investigations by the Federation, which could therefore also take double measures.
Updates will follow.
