Champions Of The Future, Portimão - Morgatto and Tye dominate the heats

Columns: Races
Heats completed at the Kartodromo do Algarve, Matheus Morgatto (OK) and Nathan Tye (OKJ) are the current leaders.

With five heats in each group, Junior and Senior drivers battled between yesterday afternoon and all day today. A consistent schedule of heats put all the drivers to the test, ahead of tomorrow's Super Heats before the finals.

OKJ - Tye, what a result
Among the rookies of the year, the Briton Nathan Tye (Sodikart) carried his name high on the Portuguese Saturday. With four victories to his credit and a second place, he will start in first position for the first Super Heat and play for the pole position for the final. Oleksandr Bondarev (RFM), pole man yesterday and today second in the general classification (three victories and two second positions), also had a great day. The Ukrainian driver will drive the Super Heat 2. In the first two rows of the respective SHs, Guillaume Bouzar (Koski) rises in third position overall, followed by the other RFM face, Thomas Strauven in fourth place.

OK - Morgatto, return as protagonist
After the first part of the season spent racing in Brazil, Matheus Morgatto is back in the international field, with new colours and a great desire to occupy the first positions. It will be the Brazilian of house DPK to start in first position for the first Senior Super Heat, thanks above all to the four victories scored during the direct clashes. Behind Morgatto, high pressure from Artem Severiukhin with the first of Ward Racing (two victories obtained). Third and fourth place, i.e. the first rows for the Super Heats, attributed to Tomass Stolcermanis (Energy), who recovered from the qualifying, and Luigi Coluccio (Tony Kart) first of the Tony Kart trident.

Super Heats starting tomorrow at 10.50 am Italian time, also visible in streaming on the Vroom Kart website.
