Italian triumph in Las Vegas, Viganò and Birel Art win the SuperNats 24

In the last race of the season, Italy wins in the States thanks to the domination in Pro Shifter of Matteo Viganò (Lennox Racing).

For years the now customary appointment with the SuperNats in Las Vegas has been honored by the best drivers on the European and international karting scene. An almost "classic" event in which, over the years, all the top official teams have taken part, making the "city" race a real event in pure American style.

The SuperNats 24, this year spoke Italian thanks to the complete presence of Birel Art supported by PSL Karting and the triumph in the queen class Pro Shifter. A Matteo Viganò in great form swept away the bad luck of the season between European and World Championships, taking the credit to shine under the lights of Las Vegas with a sumptuous weekend that puts the icing on the cake to the 2021 season.

The Lennox Racing driver, at ease with the layout of the American circuit, showed all his potential starting from the second time in qualifying, two heats out of three won and the pole position obtained for the category final. After the start and the first few laps of study, Viganò was able to attack his rival Danny Formal at the best point and at the best time, and then run away towards the overwhelming victory with a fast lap. A well-deserved result for the Italian on the top step of the "SuperSunday" event broadcast in streaming in the night between Sunday and Monday.

Big party at home Birel Art thanks to the one-two of the chassis of Lissone completed by Marjin Kremers, also competitive and incisive throughout the weekend, fourth place a step away from the podium for Riccardo Longhi in recovery. The Italian brand has long touched the poker with the inclusion of Jake French (PSL / Birel Art), then climbed sixth in the last stages.

Positive results also in the other categories starting from the good third place of Pedro Hiltbrand in the X30 Senior. Fifth place for Marco Filice (PrimePowerTeam/Birel Art) in the KA100 Senior with 27 positions recovered, second place and fast lap for Ryan Kinnear (Richmond TX/Ricciardo Kart) and fourth Jordon Musser (PSL/Birel) in the Master Shifter category.

Full results.
